Golden Globes 2021 nominations: full list

The 72nd Golden Globe Awards will be held on February 28, 2021. The ceremony will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

The nominations for the 72nd Golden Globe Awards were announced on Wednesday. In the film category, David Fincher’s Mank received the most nominations – six, followed by five nominations for Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7, and four nominations each for Florian Zeller’s The Father, Emerald Fennell’s Promising Young Woman and Chloé Zhao’s Nomadland.


In the television category, The Crown got the maximum nominations – six, followed by Schitt’s Creek with five nominations and four each for Ozark and The Undoing.


Anya Taylor-Joy was nominated in the film as well as the television category for her performance in Emma and The Queen’s Gambit.

Golden Globes 2021 will be held on February 28, 2021 and will be hosted by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler. This will be their fourth outing as hosts of the award ceremony organised by Hollywood Foreign Press Association. For the first time in the history of the awards show, it will be hosted virtually in a bi-coastal format. Tina Fey will be hosting from New York and Amy Poehler will be hosting from Beverley Hills, where the show is held every year.


This year, veteran actor Jane Fonda is being honoured with the Cecil B deMille Award, and writer Norman Lear is being honoured with teh Carol Burnett Award.
